1. What Tamam is (Introducer only)
Tamam is a directory that helps customers discover licensed, individual freelance service providers in the UAE. Tamam is only an introducer. We are not a party to any agreement, booking, or service performed between a customer and a provider, and we are not responsible or liable for the services provided, their quality, pricing, safety, or outcome. Any contract is strictly between the customer and the provider.
2. Eligibility — licensed individual freelancers
Provider profiles are intended for individual freelancers holding a valid, active UAE freelance permit or equivalent license. Providers may only list services that are covered by their license’s permitted activities. Providers must not misrepresent their license, identity, or the services they are permitted to offer, in accordance with UAE regulations.
3. Verification
Providers upload their license for review. Where a verification link or code is present on the document, our administrators may cross-check it against the issuing authority before approving a profile. Only providers with a valid, unexpired, admin-approved license appear publicly. A provider whose license expires is automatically removed from public listings until renewed and re-approved.
4. Privacy & data protection (UAE PDPL)
We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). We collect only what is needed to operate the platform: your name, contact details, location/area, and — for providers — your license document and business details.
- We use your data to create your account, verify providers, display approved provider profiles, and connect customers with providers.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- License documents are stored securely and are accessible only to you and our administrators for verification.
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
- By creating an account you consent to this processing; you may withdraw consent by deleting your account.
5. Content standards (TDRA)
All content on Tamam must comply with UAE law and the standards of the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). Reviews and profile content must be truthful and lawful. We moderate reviews and may remove content, or suspend accounts, that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or abusive.
6. Reviews
Customers may review providers after a service. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. Tamam is not responsible for the opinions expressed in reviews and may moderate or remove them under Section 5.
